Eden Prairie Education
Eden Prairie, with over 10,000 students enrolled in it's school system, has been called one of the best school systems in Minnesota, with students consistantly scoring above average on standardized tests, including the SAT and ACT.
There are 8 schools in the ISD 272 school district, consisting of four elementary schools, the Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion School, the Oak Point Intermediate School for 5th and 6th graders, Central Middle School for 7th and 8th graders, and 9th through 12th graders attend the Eden Prairie High School, which has been a National Blue Ribbon School from 1994-1996.
Apart from these schools, the distract also has active Community Education, Early Childhood Family Education, and Early Childhood Special Education programs.
ISD 272 has a strong community base with many parent volunteers and public funding, including the support of referenda by voters to build and update the schools in the community.
