Eden Prairie Parks and Recreation

The City of Eden Prairie is a unique community that takes pride in its preserved natural beauty within the metro area. The park district offers Public beaches, fishing piers, skating rinks, community gardens, playgrounds, tennis courts and baseball fields to name a few of the amenities that make life enjoyable in Eden Prairie.

Eden Prairie is one of the only cities within the metro area where residents enjoy more than 4,500 acres of open space wetlands, including the beautiful views of 17 lakes and more than 100 ponds.

The City has more than 1,000 acres of active use parkland. Bikers, hikers and walkers enjoy Eden Prairie's nearly 200 miles of sidewalks and trails.

Bryant Lake Regional Park

Bryant Lake Regional Park has over 170 acres of rolling hills, woodlands, wetlands, and grasslands. There are many breath taking views and animals in the park. You might see a deer, waterfowl or songbirds that have made the park home. Here are some of the activities you can enjoy within the park:

Riley Lake Park

Eden Prairie residents are fortunate to have the Riley Lake Park at their usage during the summer. The park sits on a 36 acre site, with a wide range of facilities available for your outing.

Staring Lake

Staring Lake Park is 187 acres on the southwest side of Staring Lake.  The park is just off Pioneer trails and across the street form the Flying Cloud Airport.  The park is full of trails circling the lake and has plenty of other things to do, including several sports fields and winter activities.
